The DIFC Employee Workplace Savings (DEWS) plan was launched as a first-of-its-kind scheme in the region for employees in the DIFC in February 2020, reforming the end-of-service benefits landscape. With its market-leading approach to long-term workplace savings, DEWS provides a progressive end-of-service benefits scheme – restructuring the predefined employee benefits plan into a professionally funded and managed plan, aligned with international standards.

The scheme has since grown from strength to strength, in both size and performance, and in July this year, DEWS will be expanded to Dubai government entities, as part of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed’s vision to protect employee rights, foster financial wellness and position Dubai as a global talent hub – a preferred destination to live, work, invest and retire.

Through Zurich Workplace Solutions, we’ll manage and administer the savings scheme, enabling employers to oversee and fund their end-of-service benefits efficiently while empowering employees to take control of their financial future.
