There is no metaphor for a family history of cancer or heart disease. Neither for redundancy, loss of income or bankruptcy.
These are uncomfortable words to use. They make for hard conversations. They bring us face to face with our vulnerabilities.
But sugar-coating them will get us nowhere. It will only come in the way of seeing challenges for what they are. Which is why we choose to be a plain-speaking insurance company.
Only in being open and honest about life’s challenges can we pinpoint the actions we must take to create a brighter future built on informed optimism.
