Premium payment options

Making premium payments on your policy is easy. We offer you several payment options that are simple, convenient and secure. You can choose a payment method that best suits you and set up the instruction directly with your bank, or through Zurich HelpPoint or your financial adviser, by completing the method of payment form.

  • Regular premiums

    Bank standing order

You can set up a standing order with your bank for regular premium payments. You will need our bank account details to transfer the premium (these can be found in the tab above). You can choose an account to pay your premium from based on your policy currency or your bank account currency. It is important to check transfer charges and exchange rates when setting up your instruction.

Setting up a bank standing order

The most convenient way to set up a standing order is through internet banking, or you can visit your bank. Once you have set up the standing order, you will need to email us the confirmation or copy of the instruction (including your account name, account number, bank name, and policy number). You can make an immediate transfer the first time, and then select a preferred date for the regular premiums to be collected.

    Set-up time

Once the instruction is submitted to the bank, it may take three to five working days to set up the standing order, depending on your bank. Central bank transfers take one working day and international transfers take between five and seven working days.

    Post dated cheques

You can make regular payments through post-dated cheque for your policy in your local currency or equivalent.

    Paying by cheque

Cheques should be payable to ‘Zurich International Life Limited’ and you will need to mention your full name, policy number and contact number on the back of the cheque. The cheque should be issued by the payor on the policy.

You can submit up to 12 post-dated cheques at a time. The cheques can be submitted to a local Zurich office or through your financial advisor. You can pay by cheque if you have an account in the UAE, Bahrain, or Qatar.

    Set-up time

The cheque will be banked within two working days once it is received by our office or when the date on the cheque is due.

Credit cards (not available for AED/QAR/BHD policies)

Pay your regular premiums through our automated credit card collection service, available on all Visa and Master cards (American Express is not accepted).

    Setting up credit card payments

To set up a credit card payment simply call Zurich HelpPoint and we will complete your request over the phone. You can also call to update your existing card information or change the collection instructions.

Alternatively, you can fill in a credit card mandate and send it to us via email. We will process your request and set up the credit card for collection on the next available date.

    Set up time

HelpPoint phone requests are set up immediately and the collection details will be confirmed to you while you are on the call. If you send us a request with the credit card mandate we will setup the credit card for collection within five working days. We have two to three scheduled collection days per week. The premium will be collected as per your preferred date of collection, or the next available credit card collection date.

    UK direct debit

UK Direct debit can be used for making GBP sterling payments from a UK bank account for a GBP sterling policy only. Payments are collected automatically so premium payments are never forgotten.

    Setting up the UKDD

You can set-up a UK Direct Debit Instruction by filling the UKDD application available in the method of payment form. You will need to submit the original form to a local Zurich HelpPoint office, or send it via post/courier. We will set-up the UKDD directly with your bank.

    Set-up time

Once we receive the UKDD form, we will send the form to your bank in the UK, via courier. It takes five to seven working days for the bank to setup the automated UKDD instruction. Once the collection is made on your premium due date, it takes about five working days for us to receive the premium.

    UAE direct debit

UAE Direct debit DD is an automated payment instruction which allows Zurich to collect your regular premiums from your bank account. The amount, collection date, frequency and term is set up by you. With UAE DD, you have the peace of mind that your regular premiums will be paid on time. By signing up, you will also enjoy the benefits of having a seamless method to pay your regular premiums, with no collection charges.

    Setting up the UAE DD

If you choose to switch to UAE DD, all you need to do is complete the UAE Direct debit request form and send the original form through your financial professional, or directly to us at:
    Zurich International Life Limited,
    P.O. Box 50389,
The Gate Village Building 7, Level 3
    Dubai International Financial Centre,
    United Arab Emirates.

The UAE Direct debit form guide will help you fill the form accurately.

    Set-up time

Once we receive the original UAE DD form, we will send the form to your bank to complete the set up. In seven working days, the DD will be activated and you can relax knowing that all future policy payments will be collected from your bank account automatically.
